The project SIZE has
a life-span of 36 months and is divided into four Areas.
AREA 1 “Preparatory
activities” includes the first Workshop where
the working plan and the role of the senior citizens who are
partners in the project will be specified, and a state of
the art report plus instruments for the qualitative studies.
In AREA 2 “Qualitative
studies” Focus-group and in-depth interviews
with senior citizens and with decision makers and experts
will be carried out. At the end of work in this Area the results
of these studies will be presented and discussed in a second
Workshop. To analyse frequencies and distribution of the qualitative
results in the population standardised interviews with senior
citizens and decision makers and experts will be carried out
in ...
AREA 3 “Standardised
survey”. These quantitative results will be
presented and discussed at a third Workshop. There, first
concepts of possible solution of transport and mobility problems
for elderly people and for the dissemination of results will
be produced.
AREA 4 “Finalisation
and distribution of results” will finish the
project with the production of the final report and the distribution/dissemination
of the results. One way to do this will be with the help of
a final Workshop where the results of the whole project are
presented to representatives of senior citizens associations
and industry, to policy makers and politicians.
